I was wondering if I could do a character profile for Sherlock, even though someone already did. Some websites don't allow it, which is why I am asking.

My question was directed at Jim, as he is the one who would know. While I am fully aware that you have already set up a profile for Sherlock, this website would be painfully limited if there was only one of each character allowed.

Sadly I shall have to inform you that, no you cannot. This is a forum where you can only have one of each character at a time, in which case Grey is Sherlock. However you may make a character which can portray some same attributes of Sherlock.

There is another Sherlock RP site, and there are an unlimited amount of Sherlock's, John etc. The just have varied usernames

Wait...I'm still unsure how that works. So, was this a universe where like, say 6 Sherlock Holmes' existed and worked alongside each other, or something?

someone places an advert for a Sherlock in their RP story and someone who wants to RP as him takes the job, but it's only the one Sherlock, they never meet, It's a very confusing system but you get the hang of it eventually

I imagine there's next to no character development. It's a good idea, but it must be next to impossible for anyone to make any significant progress on the character itself.
